This Voice travel bag is a tribute to activist Viola Desmond, an African-Canadian woman recognized for being an example in the fight for civil rights in Canada. In this collection Anekke is inspired by her story to launch a message of love and respect: Find your voice, and fight for what you believe in!
It is a large travel bag, with large interior capacity, and features pockets on the front and back, as well as side pockets.
The main print features the image of Anekke leading a crowd as they demonstrate for peace and equality. It is a bag in shades of gray, blue, ochre and maroon, combined with embroidery and a handmade style finish.
It has two handles and a removable adjustable shoulder strap. The interior is lined with an original fabric printed with motifs from the collection and has pockets. It is also adaptable to a trolley.
The final touch is the details, which make it unique. It has some like the logo with different tones and textures, symbolizing the union between different races and ethnicities, pins and personalized handles. All under a handcrafted style finish.
